The first ever
National Spaghetti Bridge competition took place at IESL-YMS premises. The champions from each faculty
Moratuwa, Peradeniya and Ruhuna went head to head for the glory of being the
first ever national Spaghetti Bridge competition champion. After laying out the
rules and regulations the teams were asked to design and built the best
structure of their understanding which can withstand a maximum weight. It was
an uphill task for contestants as they struggled to keep up with the time. But
at the end all the teams were able to put up their structures. The competition
became intense when the loading started as the cheers went in the air for
respective faculties.
